Caserta :

Caserta is the capital city of the province of Caserta in the Campania region, located 30 km north of Naples. It is an important agricultural, commercial, and industrial city. It is known for its magnificent Royal Palace, which, together with the Royal Belvedere of San Leucio and the Carolino Aqueduct, has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997.

In particular, the Royal Palace of Caserta, the largest in the world by volume, is one of the best legacies left by the Borbone dynasty in Campania and is currently one of the most visited places in Italy. With its magnificent halls, stunning royal staircase, picture galleries, and permanent contemporary art exhibition "Terrae Motus" to which authors such as Andy Warhol and Keith Haring have contributed, it is a tourist destination not to be missed. The visit, moreover, cannot be separated from a walk in the large Royal Park, 3 km long and enriched by beautiful fountains populated by fish and numerous aquatic plants.

Department of Political Sciences :

The Department of Political Sciences of the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli", since its creation in 2005, has as its main objective the formation of the field of Political Sciences through highly interdisciplinary teaching methodologies. It provides students with the indispensable cultural tools to govern the complex dynamics of contemporary global society, train new players in territorial policies in the public and private sectors and educate them in a broad vision of international relations and regional integration processes, with particular attention to the Euro-Mediterranean context.

Internationalization is an operational tool for opening up to the "globality" of university education, with particular attention to EU and Euro-Mediterranean perspectives, through training courses with a transnational dimension and international programs for the exchange of teachers and students.

It is located just near the Royal Palace of Caserta and has many comfortable classrooms of medium and large sizes.
